HDPE recycling

Physical recycling: This is one of the most common ways to recycle HDPE. The reclaimed HDPE products are processed into reclaimed HDPE particles through a series of physical processes such as sorting, cleaning, crushing, melting and granulation. These recycled particles can be reused to produce various HDPE products, such as pipes, plates, plastic films, plastic containers, etc.
Chemical recovery: Under certain conditions, HDPE is broken down into smaller molecules, such as ethylene monomers or other organic compounds, by chemical reactions. These decomposition products can be reused as chemical raw materials to synthesize new polymers or other chemical products. Chemical recycling can achieve deep recycling of HDPE and improve resource utilization, but the technical requirements are high and the cost is relatively high.
Energy recovery: For some HDPE waste that cannot be effectively recycled by physical or chemical methods, energy recovery can be used. Through the incineration of HDPE waste, its chemical energy is converted into heat energy, electric energy and other forms to achieve energy recovery.
