Based on the material of the bottle neck, aluminum foil liners are generally classified into two main types: PET aluminum foil liners and PE aluminum foil liners. These two types differ significantly in structure, heat-seal materials, and compatibility, and understanding these differences helps customers choose and use them more effectively.
1. PET Aluminum Foil Liner
Structure Composition: Cardboard + Aluminum + Polyester heat-seal film
Sealing Material: Polyester (PET)
Suitable Bottle Neck: For heat sealing with PET bottle necks
Function & Use: Provides reliable sealing to prevent leakage
Recommended Storage Conditions: Relative humidity 40%–65%, temperature 0℃–30℃
Total Thickness: 0.6mm ± 0.1mm
2. PE Aluminum Foil Liner
Structure Composition: Cardboard + Polyester + Aluminum + Polyethylene
Sealing Material: Polyethylene (PE)
Suitable Bottle Neck: For heat sealing with PE bottle necks
Function & Use: Offers sealing protection, moisture, and contamination prevention
Recommended Storage Conditions: Relative humidity 40%–65%, temperature 0℃–30℃
Total Thickness: 0.6mm ± 0.1mm
Selection Recommendations
If the bottle neck is made of PET, we recommend using PET aluminum foil liners to ensure optimal heat-sealing compatibility.
If the bottle neck is made of HDPE or LDPE, PE aluminum foil liners are recommended to avoid sealing failure.
For long-term storage, please follow the recommended humidity and temperature range to prevent material deformation or degradation.
