In the plastic packaging industry, HDPE extrusion blow molding is widely used to produce hollow containers such as bottles for supplements, powders, and gummies. As a dedicated manufacturer, Mingda specializes in this process, continuously improving molding precision and production speed to deliver high-quality plastic bottles at scale.
What Is HDPE Extrusion Blow Molding?
HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) extrusion blow molding is a technique that forms hollow plastic items by blowing air into molten plastic within a mold. The process includes:
- Extrusion: HDPE pellets are melted and extruded into a tubular parison.
- Mold Clamping: The parison is placed into a mold, which then closes to hold the material.
- Blow Molding: Compressed air inflates the parison to fit the mold's shape.
- Cooling and Ejection: The formed bottle is cooled, then ejected and sent to the next production stage.
