1. Pressure-Sensitive Liners (PS Liners)

How they work: These liners stick to the bottle mouth when the cap is tightened. Adhesion happens without the need for heat or sealing equipment.

Advantages: Easy to apply, low cost, and suitable for small production runs.

Best for: Powders, dry goods, or short shelf-life products.

Limitation: Less effective for liquids or products requiring long-term sealing.

2. Induction Seals (Foil Seals)

How they work: A layer of aluminum foil is bonded to the bottle mouth using electromagnetic induction heat.

Advantages: Excellent leak prevention, strong tamper evidence, and superior barrier against moisture, oxygen, and aroma loss.

Best for: Food, pharmaceuticals, health supplements, and cosmetics-especially for export and long-distance shipping.

Limitation: Requires induction sealing equipment.

3. Foam Liners (EPE Liners)

How they work: Made from expanded polyethylene (EPE), these soft liners compress between the cap and bottle neck.

Advantages: Good cushioning, reseal capability, and compatibility with many bottle types.

Best for: Non-aggressive liquids, household products, and dry goods.

Limitation: Lower barrier performance compared to foil-based liners.

4. Pulp and Foil (or Pulp and Poly) Liners

How they work: A pulp backing supports an aluminum foil or polyethylene barrier layer.

Advantages: Improved barrier against moisture and odor transfer.

Best for: Oils, fragrances, and aroma-sensitive formulations.

Limitation: Higher cost compared to standard foam liners.

5. Vented Liners

How they work: Special vent membranes allow gases to pass through while keeping liquids inside.

Advantages: Prevents bottles from bulging or collapsing due to pressure changes during shipping or temperature variation.

Best for: Products that release gas or are sensitive to pressure changes, such as bleach, peroxides, or foaming liquids.

Limitation: More specialized and costlier than regular liners.
